Christian McBride is an American jazz bassist and composer. He has been active since the 1990s and has worked with many well-known jazz musicians, including Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, and Herbie Hancock. McBride has also released six albums as a bandleader and has been awarded multiple prizes, including five Grammy Awards. He is also a radio host and instructor, and leads the jazz program at the Juilliard School in New York.
