UB40 is a British reggae and pop band formed in Birmingham, England in 1978. The band's name refers to the unemployment benefit form issued in the UK at the time. UB40's music is a blend of reggae, ska, and pop, and they have released numerous successful albums and singles throughout their career.

The band's original lineup included lead singer and keyboardist Ali Campbell, drummer and percussionist Jim Brown, and guitarists Robin Campbell and Earl Falconer.
